I like it.

When you consider the number of cars driving each day with only one person in them and couple that with the fact that the cars then sit idle for eight hours or so each day, this approach makes a lot of sense.

You reduce the energy needed to move people around.

You reduce traffic volume.

You reduce parking space need.

The only other thing I would add is a robot mode where the car could drive itself to the person who needs one that is not available at their location.

The potential for urban driving needs is very high. Production would lower the cost and if you set up a credit card swipe for use, you have a self contained method of public transportation.

Neat idea.

Hi Cabe,

Google and MIT have the right idea. Open your system and give people the tools and they will take your systems to new applications. Even if only one idea in a hundred is a hit, you get so much good will and aspiring talent applied that everyone wins.

Apple should consider this model. It's what made the Apple I and II so successful in their early days.

I got the Acetate back from the printers today, it was worse than the one I printed out on my inkjet. I called the printer and tried to have a conversation about what I needed, a 0.02mm gap between the 0.025mm pins on a 64 pin PIC.

He talked to me about differences in printer drivers and layout software, I have never got to delve into these mysteries before, other than the installation of printer or two.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi Drew,

I know what you mean about a gym, but having recently gone through physical therapy for my knee surgery, I can see where having something like this available for people who need to rebuild movement and strength after accidents.

On the Yoga end, part of the exercises is to bring you body to a state of calmness without overdoing yourself. Knowing when you are in the zone would encourage people to continue.

I think you could work in ports for an ear piece microphone to record heart beat and breath rate. I don't know about you, but if I put my fingers in my ears, I can hear each breath and each pulse of the heart. A microphone should be able to hear the noise, plus blocking the ears with earphones would also let the person concentrate better.

Just a thought.
