Really cool site! But you should really have an "about" button at the top menu, leading to this statement, or some abbreviated form of it near "be in your element" which is a catchy slogan but uninformative.

I was led here from another website, and was able to figure out the gist for myself, but it's really not obvious for people following links here what the site is for unless they dig around, which a lot of people just following links from other sites won't bother to do.

Thanks for the great feedback, it's always good to recieve comments from our members. We are currently working on improving the about us section of the site and will have an update in the near future.

I have a couple months in Element14 and I'm already a member of the Top Participants group.

As a person well informed in social media. One of the single most importsant metrics of social media sites liek thsi is "recency". Recenvy being described as "when was the last time activity took place on teh site". By my count, roughly 3 months...13 days.

Rethink the value proposition..layout...flow. Do usability studies. Hang out with customers and distributors for a few days

I'm curious if you've seen our home page - we have a widget that shows the site's recent content (at the time I'm posting this someone posted 24 mins ago) :). We do have a user experience team on staff here, but very happy to hear any of your suggestions or comments on how you think we can improve the site!
