Development tools provide a comprehensive set of integrated development environment (IDE) options, as well as hardware development tools such as debuggers, emulators, that engineers use to create, debug, maintain, or otherwise support other programs and applications. Availability of drivers, libraries and rapid application development technology provide everything needed to begin using a complex module without spending any time writing module-specific code.

Hardware debuggers, emulators and debug cables are the link between the IDE running on your PC and the target hardware. These interfaces allow full, non-intrusive in-circuit emulation and are provided by silicon suppliers and tool vendors.  These interfaces are also being integrated into the development and evaluation boards.
