Section 11: Toxicological Information

This Section is aimed at medical professionals, safety professionals and toxicologists

Information in this section shall address:

 

 

  • Acute toxicity (Eyes, Dermal, Inhalation and Oral)
  • Skin corrosion/irritation
  • Serious Eye Damage/irritation
  • Respiratory or skin sensitisation
  • Germ cell mutagenicity
  • Carcinogenicity
  • Reproductive toxicity
  • Aspiration hazards

 

Considerations for this section should include:

 

·         Likely routes of exposure

·         Avoid general statements such as non-toxic

·         If no data is available it must be specified if this is due to:

o   Lack of data

o   Data not applicable

o   Technically not able to obtain data

o   Inconclusive data
