Get Part data as fast as a speeding BULET

It is now possible to begin downloading Part data (Schematic Symbols, PCB Footprints) from the Premier Farnell (a leading multi-channel, high service global distributor including the regional companies such as Farnell, Newark and Premier Electronics) Element-14 web site. Accelerated Designs Inc (ADI) has provided the Ultra Librarian (UL) Free Reader for download by any Premier Farnell customer. The Part data is in an EDA/CAD-Independent format. Once the single Binary file is downloaded, the Symbol and Footprint can then be Exported to virtually any EDA or CAD tool format. This will replace the time-consuming, tedious process of creating parts from scratch using PDF Datasheets. ADI has a comprehensive Library Database of 1.5M parts that we market to end users under various subscription plans. From the Free Reader, you can search for a part on the Newark/Farnell web site (free) or the ADI web site (modest charge). If you need a part that is not in either database, you can request that the part be built for a modest fee.

You can also use an upgraded version of this tool to access the Premier Farnell DesignLink and get updated pricing and availability for any part that is in the Library Database. Premier Farnell currently has 16,000 parts in an initial Part Library that is available for download.
