During the last year three sets of proposals have been published
that look to change the scope of the RoHS Directive.
Proposals in December 2008, July 2009 and then a first draft recast
in November could lead to significant changes around the scope, product
categories, definitions, substance restrictions, CE compliance and exemptions.
The three parties debating the proposals are the European Commission, The
Council of Ministers and the European Parliament.
Between them they will have to come up with a final draft.
The document attached reviews their current position on the key issues.
