Our ideal location for this key role would be within our Leeds office, however for the right candidate we are open for discussion in terms of location, within our Global sites.
Reporting to the Global Head of Programme Management, this role manages a team of up to 4 professionals, with responsibility of global matrix teams of up to circa 40.
In this strategic role you will be responsible for the delivery of a Gloabl Business and Global Information System Programme Plan on a day to day basis. You will manage a team of Project Managers to achieve delivery of the Programme Plan, and be responsibile for the delivery and managemnet of allocated Programmes and Projects to cost and time, as directed.
Experience
- Proven ability of managing a skilled multi-disciplinary team, to include all aspects of managing performance, motivation & development of individuals.
- Experience in Programme management & commercial third party management experience
- Goal orientated & strong delivery/milestone focus
- Experienced in full lifecycle project management implementation
- Experienced in Traditional (i.e. Prince 2 / PMI) project management techniques
- Experienced in Agile (i.e. Scrum / XP) project management techniques
- Strong commercial acumen
- Programme and project financial reporting
- Experience of project management methodologies and planning tools
