In order to reduce the amount of energy used in many offices, Redwood Systems has introduced a new LED alternative to corporate lighting solutions.

By distributing DC power, controlling signals to fixtures and consolidating the LED power source, the firm believes that it will be able to deliver a solution that enables businesses to reduce their energy bills.

Jeremy Stieglitz, vice-president of marketing at Redwood, explained that if enterprises adopt the new solutions, they will be able to achieve a return on their investment within two years.

"Lighting is 20 per cent to 40 per cent of their energy load and they have no visibility into it," LEDs Magazine quotes him as saying.

One of the ways in which the company hopes to reduce lighting bills is to remotely control the technology, so that the bulbs are only on when they need to be.

Redwood describes itself as a problem-solving business and aims to deliver cost effective results at all times.ADNFCR-1785-ID-19661815-ADNFCR
