The Company:
A leading Independent Electronic Component Distributor in the UK, well established with 5 global locations, strong operations and logistical capabilities my client can provide innovative solutions to any supply chain.
The Role:
With the arrival of a European franchise agreement we need an individual to manage and develop the line giving the company maximum exposure in the market place, responsibilities include:
- Daily liaison with the manufacturer regarding any price and delivery issues
- Monthly meetings at both sites to discuss ongoing business levels
- Plan and conduct product-specific marketing programmes
- Manage stock and advise management on stock levels
- Train sales staff on product ranges and manufacturer interaction
- Conduct customer visits to promote the line
The Person:
This is an office-based role but will involve some travel, the successful candidate needs to be a very good communicator, someone with broad product knowledge in the electronic component industry and be technically competent.
