Solar powered Signal lighting is a kind of traffic lighting which is powered by solar energy. It can be used in a street where is no power supply or can not span power cable but need traffic command control signal.
Solar powered Signal lighting use the solar cell as it power supply and the excrescent power is stored in a battery as it backup power supply. This traffic lighting usually uses high brightness LED to display the signal, the LED’s on or off is controlled by a MCU which also supply the RS-485 port to receive the control signal from traffic signal control box or receive the signal from ZigBee module.
