| Overview |
With this board you can develop and prototype with any of Microchip's 28 pin PIC microcontrollers. The RS232 driver on board allows easy connection with PC or other embedded hardware. The board has user button and status LED. The bridge rectifier allows this board to be powered with both AC and DC power supply adapters. PIC-P28 supports both 3V low power and normal 5V operation.

The PIC-P28-20MHz development board has the following features:
- ICSP/ICD connector for programming and debugging
- RS232 interface with MAX232 IC on socket
- DIL28 microcontroller socket
- Quartz crystal 20Mhz
- LED to RA0 through jumper
- User Button to RA5
- Reset button and circuit
- Power plug-in jack, accept AC and DC input
- Selectable +3.3V / +5V power supply voltage regulator (3.3V when jumper is closed)
- Extension slot on every uC pin
- Gird 100 mils
- GND and Vcc bus
- Four mounting holes 3,3 mm (0,13")
- FR-4, 1.5 mm (0,062"), green solder mask, white silkscreen component print
- Dimensions 100x80 mm (3,9x3,15")
