As part of Farnell’s ongoing focus on delivering excellent customer service, there is available an industry-first automated safety datasheet service providing the latest REACH substance information on products.
When a Farnell customer places an order for a product which contains any one of the current REACH Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs), a product safety datasheet is automatically emailed to the customer along with their order acknowledgment.
Please see the attached examples below.
For ease of use, the product safety datasheet sent with the order acknowledgement is always labelled “REACH-(Farnell order code).pdf”, (this appears as “REACH-152205.pdf” in the case of the attached examples). The aim is to make the specific product containing the SVHC easily identifiable in a large order.
If there are any subsequent changes to the product safety datasheet, a new version will be automatically emailed to any customer who has ordered the affected product within the last 12 months.
However, in order to ensure the effectiveness of this service the correct customer email address and contact permissions must be provided on the customer’s account.
