So what will the 5 reporting categories be under the WEEE recast?
Fluorescent lamps, Screens (TVs, monitors), temperature control equipment (fridges and heaters), large household and small household equipment.
Large and small will be determined either by weight or size (one side 50cm or more). This is still to be agreed.
The second reading will start later in the year with entry into force, allowing for transposition, January 2014 or later.
