DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs), which is responsible for implementing the EU Eco-Design Directive 2009/125/EC in the UK, have updated their guidance notes.
The guidance notes offer individual annexes covering specific regulations on the following: simple set top boxes, external power supplies, non-directional and tertiary lighting, glandless circulators, televisions, domestic refrigerators, electric motors (inc. variable speed drives) and standby and off-mode power consumption. Newly included annexes also cover household washing machines and dishwashers.

• Definitions
• Exemptions
• General advice on CE marking and putting on the market (POTM)
