On 19th December 2011 ECHA updated the REACH Candidate List to include twenty new Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC)
These substances are listed below
- Zirconia Aluminosilicate Refractory Ceramic Fibres
- Calcium arsenate
- Bis(2-methoxyethyl) ether
- Aluminosilicate Refractory Ceramic Fibres
- Potassium hydroxyoctaoxodizincatedichromate
- Lead dipicrate
- N,N-dimethylacetamide
- Arsenic acid
- 2-Methoxyaniline; o-Anisidine
- Trilead diarsenate
- 1,2-dichloroethane
- Pentazinc chromate octahydroxide
- Formaldehyde, oligomeric reaction products with aniline
- Bis(2-methoxyethyl) phthalate
- 4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)phenol
- Lead diazide, Lead azide
- Phenolphthalein
- Dichromium tris(chromate)
- Lead styphnate
- 2,2'-dichloro-4,4'-methylenedianiline
Zirconia Aluminosilicate Refractory Ceramic Fibres and Aluminosilicate Refractory Ceramic Fibres already form part of the candidate list but have been listed twice due to the possible differences in chemical composition that might appear in these substances
