element14 presents the STM32F207IGT6STM32F207IGT6 based DEVKIT1207DEVKIT1207 Evaluation Kit. The element14 DEVKIT1207DEVKIT1207 evaluation Kit is a complete development platform for STM32F207IGT6 devices which enables engineers to easily and rapidly evaluate, prototype and test designs built around the STMicroelectronicsSTM32F207xx series microcontrollers. The DEVKIT1207 board provides a full range of hardware peripherals to support HS/FS USB OTG, Ethernet, CAN, Serial port, IrDA, TF card, LCD, Touch screen, Audio, G-sensor, RTC, JTAG, etc. The kit is provided with an industrial-level 3.5 inch resistive touch LCD screen.

 

 

The STMicroelectronics STM32F207IGT6STM32F207IGT6 flash microcontroller is from STM32F207xx family, based on the high-performance ARM Cortex-M3 32-bit RISC core operating at a frequency of up to 120MHz, with high-speed embedded memories (1MB of flash memory and 128KB of system SRAM), 4KB of backup SRAM, 2Kb EEPROM and powerful peripheral functions, including digital camera module interface, High-speed USB OTG, Full-speed USB OTG, Ethernet MAC, CAN2.0B, multiple timers, ADCs and DACs, I2C, I2S, SPI, UARTs/USARTs, SDIO, LCD interface, RTC and programmable IOs.


 

RTOS

In addition element14 has ported Micrium uC/OS-II and uC/GUI to this board. element14 also has ported the FreeRTOS real-time operating system for LwIP Ethernet applications. element14 provides the uC/OS-II BSP, FreeRTOS source code and plenty of software examples, board schematics and user manuals for the customers to understand the board better and make the board application development easy. Note: You are required to purchase a license for using Micrium uC/OS-II and uC/GUI in any commercial applications.

The STM32F2 family is only supported by MDK-ARM 4.20 or above versions only. The MDK-ARM is a complete software development environment for Cortex-M, Cortex-R4, ARM7 and ARM9 processor-based devices. MDK-ARM is specifically designed for microcontroller applications, it is easy to learn and use, yet powerful enough for the most demanding embedded applications. The demo version of MDK ARM 4.22a with code limitation is supplied along with the kit in CD-ROM. Note: User need to purchase or get the license version themselves in order to use MDK-ARM software without any code limitations.
