Radio Frequency - 17.2kHz

Posted by M0DCD on Dec 8, 2010 4:49:52 AM

For those who'd like a challenge over the Christmas period, we have one here for you. Receive a radio signal at 17.2kHz. Think there's nothing that low apart from tactical submarine communications?

The Alexanderson transmitter in Grimeton, Sweden
is transmitting a message at 0800UTC on the 24th December (in good old fashioned hand sent morse code) for you to receive and decode.

Time to get the thinking cap on and get out the soldering iron.
