CadSoft EAGLE V6

CadSoft EAGLE expert Richard Hammerl was on hand tirelessly throughout the week offering demonstrations, tips and advice on the latest version of EAGLE. Flowcode GUI for PICs

Engineers are rightly protective of their hard-earned skills in C and C++. Our demo of Flowcode, a graphical programming language from Matrix Multimedia, combined with a PIC18F board from Microchip and element14 showed how simple flow diagrams can be used with custom authored C code to create powerful and complex programs easily.

ARM Dev Kits from Embest

Embest produce a wide range of powerful development boards featuring ARM architecture and it was incredible to see full 1080p high definition video streaming from their boards without any lag or stutter for 3 days almost non-stop. ARM based processors were everywhere at Embedded World 2012 from Zeppelins circling the atrium to the smallest dev kits, even making up well over half the boards on our stand.

Micrium

We were honoured to have the commander-in-chief of all things RTOS, Jean Labrosse, CEO of Micrium, present to provide expert advice and insights into μC/OS-II and μC/OS-III, along with associated stacks. Roaming the central table of our stand were a couple of TI Evalbots, demonstrating the RTOS live.
