On 16th June this year, the 29th annual Great Yorkshire Bike Ride takes place between Wetherby and Filey over a route of some 70 miles.
Farnell element14 is proud to have been one of the main sponsors of this charity event for over 25 years.
In 1984 the first event saw 284 riders raise £8,900 for charities across the region. Last year 1767 entrants raised an amazing £121,015, bringing the total over the 28 years to almost £2million.
In 2011 "Team Farnell" raised the fabulous total of £5,833 and this year we are striving to beat that record. Any donation you were kind enough to make would support charities such as Martin House Children's Hospice, Epilepsy Research UK, Candlelighters Trust, Heart Research UK and Yorkshire Cancer Research.
