David Stone is a double gold medal paralympic champion (tricycle). He was born with cerebral palsy, but from a young age enjoyed cycling. David lives in Leeds, where is currently completing a degree in sports business.

In 2005, while backcountry skiing, Sam was caught in an avalanche that resulted in the amputation of his left leg below the knee. In July 2006 he competed in his first US Paralympics National Championships and is now ranked 5th in the world.
