Group Overview

Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) is a wireless communication technology of wireless local area network (WLAN) that uses specifications in the 802.11 standard. There are different versions of 802.11, in which the most widely used versions are 802.11b, 802.11a, 802.11g, and 802.11n. Wi-Fi technology features low cost, high data transfer rate and low wireless emitting power. A Wi-Fi network is composed of a wireless access point (WAP) and a group of wireless devices, such as wireless routers, wireless adapters, etc.
Wi-Fi enabled devices include a wide range of consumer electronics like cameras, audio devices, video and gaming devices, and smart devices like adapter cards, computers and PDAs, printers, etc. It is getting easier to add Wi-Fi to your product by using integrated chips attached with an antenna and filter. Adding RF power amplifier will enable the system broadcast with higher power and the function of being an access point.
