Nissan, Mitsubishi Have New Joint Venture For Minicars

Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. and Mitsubishi Motor Corp. said the two companies  formed a new joint venture to develop vehicles for Japan’s popular  minicar market, which currently accounts for a third of new  light-vehicle sales in the country. The venture, named NMKV Co. Ltd.,  started operations on June 1 with 35 employees and is based in Tokyo.
