Having done some dimensional calculations, it's become apparent that we can only pick the front 4 oranges, rather than all 6 without breaking the perimiter dimensions with the basic design (as proposed in past meetings), due to the sloped approaches up to the trees. The robot remains 400mm wide, as it will be possible to extend the reach in the future with some adjustable supension (think pimped-out cars jumping on their suspension, or just busses leaning down at stops if you prefer).
Besides that everything is progerssing well, with a completed model expected for the next meeting.
