Load Google Translate So I am not sure if this is the right place but you guys seem to be pretty current and helpful. Basically I am looking at building a Wireless DAS system to run off my Asus 121 Slate. I have upgraded it to the 4/64 and have changed the wifi card to the intel advanced 6230
http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/wireless-products/centrino-advanced-n-6230.html
and have been toying with the idea of adding some wireless sensors and maybe a security camera like the bosch 400 mic
http://www.boschsecurity.us/en-us/mic
I want to include a cellar link as the Asus has no GSM feature so I can send data to a web form possible camera control?
was thinking of a box with a cellular link, 300 Mbps router 2.4 5.0, line of site to asus is 20 ft from the box
The sensors would connect via ethernet
I am using a kiosk program to take control of the tablet and disable all controls so it will only run off an app I build for it. Going to use the Tablet as the HMI and processor.
Looking for general feed back or comments. Better ways to do it ect?
Thanks in advance
John,
John,
Welcome to element14.
It sounds like you have it all figured out already. What is your ultimate purpose for all the features and security measures?
