[NEWBIE] Eagle (Version 5.11.0 for Windows - Light Edition) Schematic Elements Delete Problem[NEWBIE]

Dear Sirs and Madams!

 

I have a problem: If I add IC or some connector into Eagle Schematic, I cannot delete it anymore. This is very annoying and frustrating and can someone help me to overcome this problem?
