Im not entirelly sure what you mean.. But the chip does have an SCI (serial) interface, pins 54 and 55 are TX1 and RX1 respectively, these are marked on the board as PTD6 and PTD7. This will allow you to communicate with other TTL level serial devices, if you want to communicate with your computer which opperates at RS232 level you will need a converter.
