Euro MPs to vote on WEEE in the coming weeks.

                The European Parliament will vote on changes to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive on 19^th January 2012.  Agreement was reached late last year, between the European Council and MEPs after a very drawn out negotiation process.  Voting is the formality that will finalise the recast directive.

                With the directive recast having been stuck at a second reading for a number of months, we are now seeing real progress and the new Directive is just around the corner.
