Requirements for manufacturing 240V AC input equipment in Australia

Hi,

I would like to build some Battery Chargers with an AC input to a AC/DC converter. Does anyone know what the Legal requirements are for working with 240V equipment. For example do I need to employ someone with an Electrical contractors Licence in order to check the products. I'm not sure what people like Sunbeam do to manufacture their toasters but I'm sure the people putting them together won't have an electrical licence. Any info appreciated.
