Load Google Translate I have an amplifier board from a home theatre subwoofer. There is a small round, flat and brown part on the board that I need to replace. I have know idea what it is though. The board itself has 104P printed under the part. Will someone look at the photo at the following link and try to identify the part that the arrow is pointing at?
it`s a ceramic disc capacitor, 104 usualy means .1uF or 100nF (both are the same), not sure what the P is for however?
normaly it`s Pico farrads, but they`re not marked 104.
is there anything written on the capacitor itself at all?
There is nothing visible on the capacitor in question, it is discolored to badly due to heat. There is another close by that just has 104 printed on it.
I would say it`s certainly a 100nF ceramic disc capacitor in that case.
and going on its size, it`s voltage rating would be 50V or less.
You can always contact the device manufacturer and request capacitor #104P. Or requests a parts diagram or schematic.
Cabe
Thank you both very much.
