I agree, but you have to admit, it might be the answer to getting more girls involved with electronics.

Yeah, it's cool to see the DIY ethic pop up in unexpected places. Hopefully we'll see it more in toys for both genders with the maker movement gaining general popularity and that will keep the next generation interested in STEM. This new girl's robot workshop from LEGO is also a step in the right direction I think:
