Load Google Translate Are you talking about a MAME cabinet? Or by "legit" do you mean something less... legally questionable? The problem in that case might be: where to get the software?
Ooh! I can contribute here. A friend of mine and I wrote a game called "Armageddon" which is inspired by the original Missile Command, but quite a bit different; there are no legal problems. It would make a fantastic arcade game! Best would be a trackball plus three buttons (so you can choose which of the three missile bases to shoot from).
Ben, I hereby give you official permission to use my "Armageddon" game on your show.
I'll even help dust off the code and update it in any way needed (heck, I'll fly out for a weekend and help you put the finishing touches on if you like). You can see more about it, including screen shots and source code, here: http://www.codenautics.com/armageddon/
Cheers,
- Joe
It would be cool to make a full sized cabinet, though, it would be better to have more than one game on it.
We'll keep your idea in mind and see where we can take it.
