Road Test

When I attempt to enroll on a road test I get an "Unexpected Error" page when I click on the final "make application" button

This has been the case for some time and I keep hoping you'll fix it ..............

Hi there Michael,
We do have our team working to resolve the issues happening with RoadTest. I'd also like to try and replicate the issue you're having to make sure that they have been reported - what browser are you using when you attempt to enroll? I'll try it out on my end so I can pass along the steps to replicate to our developers.

Hi Michael,

Can you try applying for the RoadTest in FireFox browser? I just tried to enroll in the Weller RoadTest and was successful. Let me know if you're able to enroll too.

Hi AndT,

I know the developers are still working on resolving the issue with the email notifications not going out to alert RoadTesters of a new RoadTest. Also, they are working on another issue that was reported about not being able to enroll in a RoadTest that expires the following day. Additionally, I had someone report that they received an "unexpected error" when trying to enroll in a RoadTest, however I haven't been able to repeat that error in my FireFox browser. Are there any other issues you've found that I haven't listed here?

Ok start at the description it says, "EndDate: 1/9/12" ?
Now to the right of that it has,
"
Now enrolling
4 kits available.
"

But there are reviewers asssigned

These are listed in the list in the upper right, the box that lists recent applicants, also with the "Review pending".

Basicly the drawing happened early and appears to have choosen the last 4 entrys, and the last 3 for the weller.

Hi AndT, don't know if you saw this note from our RoadTest guy but it looks like the RoadTest was set to end on the 4th and there was a tech. glitch. Here's the orginal thread on it. It looks like we've got some really good RoadTests coming up so stay tuned! Can't wait for you all to see them!

Hello Nicole,

The Weller roadtest has expired (another I've missed) so I tried the current Microchip USB kit but that failed as usual with "Unexpected error".

OS - Windows 7
Browser - Firefox 9.0.1
