Load Google Translate Hey Ben
I've seen your videos specially the cnc machine and 3d printer. But I would like to see if you could make a machine that is a three in one machine which can change from a cnc machine to a laser printer/cutter to a 3d printer at a touch of a button and possibly around the size of your cnc machine that you have in your workshop. And if possible to make it shrink down to save space. Also I don't have much to spend so if you could make as cheap as possible (maybe around $200-$300 total budget). One last thing if you could make the steps in your video(s) in more detail mainly the electronics because I barely know how to code and program it along with wiring it all up to function properly and basic templates of the parts to get a basic idea on how to cut it all out. Much appreciated if you could make it. Thanks.
It would be virtually impossible to do this in the $200 - $300 range for even just a single machine let alone three in one.
The control electronics, motors and various drive components easily cost $300 on their own and thats using fairly inexpensive parts. You could do it for less by scrounging parts from old machines but then your going to have a much harder time with calibration.
Even though Ben is very skilled he can't get around the need for stepper motors, power supplies, stepper drivers, microcontrollers, etc. If you go with closed loop control then it adds even more to the price.
Ben can do a lot but he has to operate within the limitation of suppliers and their costs.

Ok then. Make it without the budget. I'm sure many people would like to see it built.
Thanks for the challange! We'll keep it in mind as we plan future episodes.
Dineth,
I could make this for you right now, except it would be in the $3,000 range. I would drop the laser cutter part though.
A CNC mill with optional 3D printer head, est. $2,500.
What do you want to make on this fantasy machine?
Cabe
Sorry Cabe Atwell I don't have $2000 or $3000 to spend
Thanks for offering
