Load Google Translate I often use a polygon pour on the top and bottom of a PCB to add extra copper for high current devices. I used to (in version 5) use the "Draw a via" tool to place vias in the pour area, then rename them to the same name as the pour. In version 6, it won't let me do that. It pops up the "Can't backannotate" error. If I don't rename them, they get issolated from the pour. Ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Zach
Hi Zach,
I tried this and could not reproduce the error. Could you please explain how you proceed exactly?
Maybe you can send me an example project where I can check this? Please send it to
Regards,
Richard
I do the same thing - just add it to an open area (no copper) rename it and move it. You can then copy for more if needed.
