Lighting LEDs with raindrops

Howdy -

I was doing some research today on piezoelectric energy harvesting and came across this nifty demo:

Hi Drew,

Neat idea. Especially for those of us who get lots of rain.

It also gives me an idea about making a rain gage where you count rain drops instead of collecting the water. I'll add this to my hack list when I get some time. Very interesting potential here.
