Molex integrates power, data lines with circular hybrid connector

has added to its line of Circular Hybrid Technology (CHT) connectors with a design that combines Cat 5e data speeds and a power supply for high signal integrity. By combining both the power and data lines in one M12 connector, the company says its new CHT connector reduces installation and cabling costs in process and automation control applications, as well as in HVAC control systems, telecoms infrastructure, and base stations.
