LedEngin states a lumens maintainance of 90% at 100,000 hours for theirs LED's. Impressive number when all competitors operating with 70% at 50,000/60,000 hours.
Does anyone have some information on what reliability standards LedEngin have used and what the expected failure rate is at 100,000 hours?
Our 100,000 hour prediction is based on 4000 hours of harsh 85°C / 85% RH testing at 1000mA with 85% lumen maintenance. Our proprietary ceramic substrate minimizes thermal stresses on the die and rugged glass lens resists contamination and degradation.
