e-14 front page date formats

Could I suggest a change to the date display format string, please?

The "Upcoming Events" module on the e-14 front page and the event details pages use different date formats.

When logged in with Country set to "uk" in the top right, the front page shows American dates (mm/dd/yyyy) but the details pages change to European (dd/mm/yyyy).

If I'm logged out, but still with country "uk" selected, all the dates are in American format (including those that were in dd/mm/yyyy when logged in).

Using Jan-Dec rather than numbers would clear this up nicely.
