Pasting from a file

There should be a warning added to the HELP for this subject.

 

The board layout you are importing will be influenced by the DRC rules of

the the board you are currently pasting into.

Should particular DRC rules be different, the pasted layout will adjust to

fit the current rules.

After pasting a board layout, check to confirm it remains acceptable.

    Yes, that's true. The same holds generally for global settings in the files

    like layers, netclasses, autorouter parameters, where the current drawing's

    parameters are kept. Only additional data like additional layers or netclasses

    are taken over. We added an according section in online help.

    Maybe we'll make this user adjustable in the future.
