The latest member to the community boards is the Craneboard, a  development tool supporting the Sitara Processors from Texas  Instruments. Its an ARM-based reference platform that utilizes and  highlights the peripheral features of the Texas Instruments' AM35x ARM  Cortex-A8 microprocessors (MPUs).  Craneboard  from Mistral, a hardware development platform that enables development  is based on the Sitara AM3517 ARM Cortex - A8 microprocessor device, a  processor that comprises of Microprocessor Unit sub-system, POWERVR SGX  Graphics Accelerator sub-system for 3D graphics acceleration to support  Graphical User Interface options whilst maintaining fast and fluid  display transitions and gaming effects with features for multiple  concurrent image manipulation, and a programmable interface supporting a  wide variety of displays...
