Battery recycling locations in the UK

It’s all well and good putting in place legislation to encourage the collection, recycling and reuse of batteries but it all comes to nothing if no-one knows where the recycling locations are.

Recycling facilities in your local area

Step in the not-for-profit, government backed www.recyclenow.com, run by WRAP, who has a very useful tool for telling you which items can be recycled from home and which from a recycling centre. Just pop in your postcode and an interactive map tell you where your nearest recycling facilities are. There is even an option to just show battery recycling facilities.
