element14 appoints Louis Wong to lead Sales and Marketing in the Greater China Region

element14, the Development Distributor, today announced the appointment of Louis Wong as Sales General Manager of Greater China. Based in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, Louis will be responsible for business strategy, operations, and sales and marketing programs for element14 in the Greater China region, reporting to Weidi Zhu, Business President of element14 for APAC.

Louis brings over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the electronics component industry to the role. He joined element14 in 2013 as Sales Manager and has helped propel element14 to new heights during his tenure. Over the past 6 years, he worked closely with Weidi to lead the teams in Shenzhen and Hong Kong and expand element14’s customer base. He also collaborated with the marketing team and introduced additional payment options and services for Chinese customers, established close relationships with suppliers, and launched various marketing campaigns to boost sales in the region.

Louis began his career as a design engineer with Pagemate Ltd and Murata HK. Prior to joining element14, he also served as Senior Sales and Marketing Manager, Arrow Asia Pacific.
