Farnell element14, the Development Distributor, is today announcing it is first to stock the Phoenix Contact SKEDD range of direct plug-in PCB connectors.

The one piece PCB connectors require no headers and innovative SKEDD direct plug -in technology ensures a reliable electrical connection directly through bore holes in the PCB. The new two-row SDDC 1,5 PCB connectors on 3.5mm pitch can be inserted directly on the PCB and securely connected using body-bound rivets.

SKEDD direct plug-in technology enables flexible positioning on the PCB. Component and process costs are reduced due to simple insertion by hand and vibration-resistant connection. Time saving push-in connection means tools are not required. Colour coded actuation lever makes using the product intuitive. Integrated test option allows quick and convenient testing.

Farnell element14 was recently awarded Device Connector Distributor of the Year for 2016 by Phoenix Contact UK and it is the top seller of this product for Phoenix Contact in high service distribution. Farnell element14 stocks over 4,000 parts from Phoenix Contact in EMEA.
