Farnell element14 presented with award for Best Marketing Practice by Honeywell

Farnell element14, the Development Distributor, has been named “Best Marketing Practice Distributor of the Year” by Honeywell for its performance in 2017.

Farnell element14 worked closely with the Honeywell sales and marketing teams to build a multi-channel, multi-touch campaign to create leads and convert opportunities. The campaign was supported by external advertising, internal web activities, re-directions to dedicated landing pages and, banners, emails, callout campaigns and sales support. This marketing support led to a 6% increase in sales during 2017, despite the impact of ongoing challenges in the oil and gas market.

Harry Joch, Pan EMEA Distribution Leader for Honeywell, said: “For Honeywell it is essential that our new and exciting sensors are available to a broader audience and addressing the correct go to market strategy. Farnell element14 did an outstanding job in attracting design engineers to have a more detailed look into our portfolio. The new fresh look of the promoting web page has increased impressions by 40%, which is a great success and also shows the importance of a very deep partnership between manufacturer and high service channel partners.”
