Newark, an Avnet Company and global distributor of electronic components, products and solutions, is excited to announce its partnership with Korenix Technology, a Beijer Group Company as its distribution partner in North America. Newark will stock Korenix Technology’s market leading line of industrial IoT and networking products.

Korenix Technology’s high-quality wired and wireless networking solutions deliver reliable industrial networks for a range of vertical markets, including surveillance, machine-to-machine (M2M), automation, remote monitoring and transportation. Their industrial ethernet switches and power-over-Ethernet (PoE) technology deliver efficient video sequence data to control centres for analysis either in real time or after an event occurs. Designed for the industrial environment, their networking devices are built to withstand electrical noise, dust, extended media distances, round-the-clock operations and wide temperature variations.

Newark will be representing Korenix’s extensive product lines, including, industrial ethernet switches, industrial power-over-ethernet switches, industrial wireless and cellular solution, industrial media converter and network management software such as Korenix Manager utility. Through this partnership, Korenix customers will get access to thousands of engineers through the element14 community, to support as they bring their products to market.

The range of Korenix now available from Newark include:

  • JetNet 3008: The JetNet 3008 is an 8-port Fast Ethernet comes with enhanced design specifications, including wider operating temperature and power input range to best fit in heavy industrial field applications. It is equipped with 2.0Gbps high performance switching engine with packet forwarding and filtering mechanism to fulfil higher performance industrial data communication requirements in field side deployments. For best network performance, both broadcast filtering and flow control functions ensure data traffic delivery to destination without traffic congestion. JetNet 3008 is designed with redundant wide power input 10~60VDC range as well as auto polarity reverse function to operate under harsh environments
  • JetNet 5010G: The JetNet 5010G is a managed industrial ethernet switch, equipped with 7 10/100Base-TX and 3 Gigabit RJ-45/SFP combo ports (10 / 100 /1000 Base-T, 100 Base-FX, 1000 Base-X). It is designed as rugged surface in aluminum material with curvilineal heating dispersing mechanical design and wide operating temperature. The embedded software supports full Layer 2 management features, MSTP, RSTP, multiform ring redundancy, network control, monitor, security and notification. The JetNet 5010G also provides built-in watchdog timer, digital input and relay output to avoid undetected damage
  • JetNet 4706F-S : JetNet 4706f, the full managed industrial PoE switch, features four 30-Watts 10 / 100 Power over ethernet ports with two redundant fiber ports. It is an ideal model for distant networking such as IP surveillance, wireless access point.etc, where power source is not conveniently located. If the powered device fails to respond after a pre-configured time interval, JetNet 4706f will reboot the powered device and

continue to monitor the powered device in every preconfigured time interval. IP31 rigid aluminum flat casing and wide operating temperature range both ensure a reliable operation in remote network site such as public transportation station or outdoor usage.

Newark provides specialist 24/5 technical support in local language and provides access to a range of free online resources, data sheets, applications notes, videos and webinars on the Newark website.
