Unfortunately, I didn't manage to complete all of the features I had hoped for with my ornaments. Not long after Christmas I caught a flu that knocked me out pretty completely for a surprisingly long time, and when I finally returned to the land of the living I had to play catch-up in my personal and professional life, so my ornaments got pushed to the back burner. Disaster has struck!   Over the weekend I received my Adafruit Electret Microphone. I eagerly soldered the included pins onto the board and set about testing it with the arduino's analog inputs.
