After three months of intensive preparation, the six startups participating in Startupbootcamp IoT 2019 participated in the final major challenge of their acceleration experience - Demo Day!

In front of a specially invited audience of journalists, investors, partners and potential customers, the entrepreneurs took to the stage in the IMAX theatre at London's Science Museum to showcase their innovative IoT products and pitch for the funding and support they will need to achieve their business goals. After the main event, the startups also had the opportunity to speak to potential investors and customers one-on-one at a special networking event.

As an official partner of the Startupbootcamp IoT program, Premier Farnell was on hand to capture all the excitement and to catch up with the startups as they prepared to embark on the next chapter of their business journeys.

"It's always incredible to see the progress our startups make from day one of the program to delivering their presentations on Demo Day" said Raph Crouan, founder and CEO of Startupbootcamp. "We're seeing products that have the potential to make a true impact in the real world, by tackling issues such as dementia, injury prevention and plastic waste. It was important to us to work with companies like these to support them and to demonstrate that IoT is about so much more than just flashy gizmos."

"Premier Farnell has been an active partner of Startupbootcamp IoT for three years now, offering mentorship, supporting the teams and following up with the startups" he continued. "This is really valuable to us and it's developed into an excellent collaboration."
