Welcome to our third blog post! This is just a quick update about our successful setup of SD card using SD Proto Shield and WiFi on Arduino MKR1000.   The aim of this setup was to test the SD Proto Shield along with the WiFi connectivity of the MKR1000. Hello all, It has been a busy week with me researching the ability to implement touch screen buttons. I have found code on how to create a button area, detect touch in that area and display it out on the terminal. I need this button to look like what it needs to be such as an icon for a couch for break, an iPad and other things. Hi everyone,   For my 3rd blog I will be showing my working braille finger pad. There will be more to the final setup but this shows how well it works. I ended out getting 6 miniature actuators to create the braille pins. It goes back to my original idea of using electromagnets. Well, I have been running some code to test reading from the SD card on the Proto Shield and it has not been working. I tested two different codes to read the card reader and it isn't working. I formatted the SD card with the downloaded program SD Card Formatter to the correct specs and still code doesn't recognize the card reader no matter what I try. This past few days, I unboxed the MKR1000 and was able to get it to connect properly to my laptop and check it via the Arduino IDE. LED blinking so that's a good start!   I uploaded a library I found to blink the LED for one second and then off for one second so it looks like a fade of light on then fade light off.
