The people who've upgrade also recommended keeping the single head for quality.       <description>&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyStart:783c065f-0cd5-48de-bef3-048387c7eb2b] --&gt;&lt;div class="jive-rendered-content"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Great idea Andy.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I never finished a build where I did not see many ways to improve upon the initial effort.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Most applications require a number of use and upgrade cycles before the end product reaches a refined level of optimization.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In every design, you make assumptions based upon your initial interpretation of the requirements.&amp;#160; As you go through the testing process you get a better understanding of what changes would improve the various aspects of the project.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;On those occasions where I had chances to go through a number of improvement cycles, the resulting system was always much better.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So I look forward to seeing what you can do with your basic build.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;DAB&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:783c065f-0cd5-48de-bef3-048387c7eb2b] --&gt;</description>

The old and new parts blend very well. Having a programmable brain like an Edison in a device like this does mean that you can expand its capabilities.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I do like Node-Red and the ability it gives to wire things flexibly.&amp;#160; If you can build your own components in NodeJS then you can extend on that giving a very powerful framework.
