Technical Specification
Monarch Go – Monarch Go, connected by Verizon, is a comprehensive modem component offering device makers the shortest possible route to market and lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) to develop a cellular-IoT connected device. Unlike traditional cellular modules, it is already certified for use on the Verizon network, avoiding costly lab testing while improving time-to-market thanks to a reduced effort for board design. It completely removes the need to design and tune a cellular antenna as it embeds an optimized LTE antenna, saving months of design effort and lab testing. Monarch Go comes with a pre-installed ThingSpace IoT SIM and gives device makers the simplest, easiest, and most cost-effective solution for developing IoT devices—simply plug it in and go.
Monarch LTE-M Development Kit – The Monarch LTE-M Development Kit contains everything an engineer needs out of box to start their next LTE IoT application. This kit contains three key components, a LPC55S69-EVK, Monarch Go Arduino Shield, and Monarch Go LTE CAT-M1 modem. The LPC55S69-EVK features the LPC55S69 dual-core Arm Cortex-M33 microcontroller chipset operating as the edge device in the LTE IoT Application. The Monarch Go LTE Modem operates as the cellular connectivity. The Monarch Go Arduino Shield acts as an interposer board between the LPC55S69-EVK and Monarch Go modem adding CAT-M1 connectivity to the LPC55S69-EVK. Product Brief
Monarch Go Arduino Shield – The Monarch Go Arduino Shield enables engineers to connect their Arduino shield compatible evaluation platforms to the Monarch Go LTE CAT-M1 modem over the Arduino shield interface. In addition the Monarch Go Arduino Shield supports an on-board EdgeLock plug and trust secure element, ambient light sensor, and a MikroE shuttle click expansion interface for application development. Product Brief
Monarch Go Pi HAT – The Monarch Go Pi HAT operates in two modes, SBC operation and Standalone operation. SBC operation enables engineers to connect Raspberry Pi HAT capable SBCs to the Monarch GO LTE CAT-M1 modem over the 40 pin GPIO Pi HAT compatible header. In standalone operation the Monarch Go Pi HATs power and UART communication to the Monarch Go Modem is done through the micro USB interface to enable many other platforms over the USB interface. The Monarch GO Pi Hat also supports a MikroE shuttle click expansion interface for application development. Product Brief
